	The Promotions Diploma and the Newspaper Sales Diploma are modular in format and take staff through a programme of Open Learning Workbooks and Workshops.
	The First Workbook, common to both Diplomas, is a useful induction tool as it can be used for new staff as a major part of their induction programme.
	Candidates completing the Workbooks will have the same level of understanding, ensuring the Workshop's effectiveness.
	The Diploma Workbooks can be used by Managers to platform appraisals and assist in staff retention.
	The Diploma can be accessed a different entry levels, dependent of the candidates experience and knowledge.
	The Workbooks continually test understanding and knowledge, and combined with the Workshops, develop skills and competencies.
